Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TAB Router hardware, software, website (tabrouter.com), customer portal (my.tabrouter.com), and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Virtual Projections DBA TAB Router ("we", "us", or "our").

By purchasing a TAB Router or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Products and Services

TAB Router (Hardware)

TAB Router is a WiFi 6 router with built-in ad blocking, parental controls, and an AI assistant. The hardware is sold as a one-time purchase with no required subscription fees.

Cloud Portal

Each TAB Router includes free access to our cloud management portal at my.tabrouter.com. The portal allows you to manage your router settings, view connected devices, configure parental controls, and access TAB AI remotely.

TAB AI Assistant

TAB AI is an AI-powered assistant included free with every TAB Router. TAB AI can manage your router settings, pause devices, block services, and answer questions about your network. TAB AI is powered by third-party AI models and its responses should not be considered professional advice.

TAB GEO Stream (Optional Subscription)

TAB GEO Stream is an optional paid add-on that provides DNS-based streaming proxy services. It includes a 7-day free trial, after which it requires a monthly subscription. You can cancel at any time.

2. Account and Access

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a TAB Router or create an account
• One account per router - each TAB Router is linked to a single customer account

3. Orders, Payments, and Shipping

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are displayed in your local currency (USD, GBP, or EUR) based on your location
• Each router is pre-configured and tested before shipping
• Shipping times are estimates and may vary based on location and carrier
• You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier

4. TAB GEO Stream Subscription Terms

• Free Trial: 30 days free, no credit card required to start
• Billing: After the trial, the subscription is billed monthly
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable for partial months
• Service Availability: We make reasonable efforts to maintain GEO Stream availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to geo-restricted content. Streaming services may update their systems, which can temporarily affect compatibility

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the Service for commercial resale without our written consent
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the router firmware (except where required by law)

6. Intellectual Property

The TAB Router firmware, cloud portal, website, TAB AI, and all associated software and content are owned by Virtual Projections DBA TAB Router and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software as part of your TAB Router purchase.

7. Warranty and Returns

• Hardware Warranty: TAB Router hardware is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects
• Software: Router firmware and portal software are provided "as is" with automatic updates
• Returns: If you are not satisfied with your TAB Router, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a return authorization
• Warranty Exclusions: Physical damage, water damage, unauthorized modifications, or use outside of normal operating conditions voids the warranty

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• TAB Router is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, beyond the limited hardware warranty described above
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
• Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your TAB Router
• We do not guarantee that ad blocking will block 100% of all ads, or that parental controls will filter 100% of all inappropriate content
• TAB AI responses are generated by AI and may contain errors - they should not be relied upon as professional network security advice

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), OpenAI (TAB AI), and Cloudflare (DNS/CDN). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services.

10. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Update router firmware to improve security and functionality
• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Update pricing for future purchases (existing purchases are not affected)
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the cloud portal if you violate these Terms. Your router will continue to function as a basic WiFi router even without portal access, but cloud management features, TAB AI, and GEO Stream require an active account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Georgia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
